Selling my trusty '72 pickup.
First-year body style, known as the "Fifty million dollar truck" because of how much Dodge spent developing it.
My asking price is less than that, don't worry.
I've had it 7 years and brought it back from near-dead.
It spent all of its life in southwestern Montana until I moved to WA four years ago and brought it along.
The Camper 9000 name means it is a 3/4 ton truck but has a 1-ton rear axle (Dana 60 4.
10 ratio) with extra leaf springs.
The previous owner put in a reman 360 engine, and I added a 4-barrel carb and 46RH overdrive transmission (with lockup converter).
It'll get about 15mpg on the freeway which is pretty good for a truck like this.
It's got an older front disc brake upgrade.
I've also added dual exhaust, a rebuilt driveshaft, new steering components, new starter, Pertronix ignition, a cloth seat from an '85 Power Ram, new door weatherstripping, functional windshield washers, locking toolbox (with keys), driver's interior door panel, smaller mirrors (original giant towing mirrors are included), tailgate, step bumper, replaced the 16.
5 wheels with 16" wheels and tires, tachometer, and more I can't remember.
Lots of spare parts go with, including factory shop manual, new floor pans, and a cab cover from CA Car Cover that is still unopened.
The odometer was reset when the engine was installed, and anything I did to it was within the last 5,000 miles or so.
This truck has towed a travel trailer and several vehicles on trailers in my ownership with no issues.
I drove it semi-daily until the last year or so, and now only sparingly but I went 70 miles with it last weekend to pick up a motorcycle.
It always starts, even after setting awhile, with just one pump of the gas pedal.
It is still an unrestored old truck though, so it isn't perfect, but this one would be a great base for a resto with its unusual factory blue-white-blue paint and styling cues from the the '71 Road Runner.
The overdrive solenoids stopped working about 2 months after the transmission's warranty expired last summer, but I'm including a replacement solenoid pack that I haven't had time to install yet.
There are no issues with the first 3 gears, just won't go into OD right now.
The radio/8-track player is one I found in a wrecking yard that was ok for awhile but quit working about a year ago.
I can include a cheapo modern stereo with bluetooth/USB/etc new in box if you want.
Located in Sedro-Woolley WA.
