1946 25’ SPARTAN MANOR - $4,000 (Anacortes)

Manufactured by the Spartan Aircraft Co.
using WWII aircraft technology.
I bought this 25 ft Manor in 2021 to live in while I built my house here in Anacortes.
And what a great home it has been (see interior photos with wood stove).
I just moved into my finished house, so it’s time to sell the Spartan.
Frame is in excellent shape for 78 years, very little rust.
The previous owner added new wheels & tires and drove it 150 miles here in 2021.
Aluminum shell is intact, mild corrosion throughout.
In 2022 I paid a metal fabricator to install a new aluminum panel over the lower front which had some damage from sharp turns (why did Spartan build such a short tongue?) The shop did a nice job but it’s not original (the original is intact, hiding beneath the new piece).
Windows are all intact, front plexiglass windows appear to have been replaced and are in decent condition.
Interior was 90% gutted when I bought it.
I finished gutting it, pressure washed the interior and installed a plywood floor on top of original masonite which is in amazingly sound (but unattractive) condition.
Then I installed plywood panels on walls & plastic insulation in ceiling.
No interior plumbing or wiring.
Good candidate for a complete restoration, customization or just move some furniture in as I did and live in it.
I have a title, current registration & plates.
It comes with a new trailer tail-light kit and is road-ready.
